Akfix 960P Adhesive PU Foam is a professional polyurethane adhesive foam that cures very quickly with humidity in the air and is specially developed for sheathing and thermal insulation applications. It offers superior adhesion strength on XPS, EPS and other polystyrene based thermal insulation boards. Thanks to its minimum expansion feature, it does not disrupt the position of the sheets during application and does not lose volume after drying. It is much lighter than traditional cement-based adhesive mortars and does not impose additional load on the building. Thanks to the ability to bond up to 14 m² of thermal insulation board with a single tube, it provides savings of up to 40% in both material and labor costs. It significantly shortens the application time by allowing doweling to be done in approximately 2 hours. Shake the can for at least 30 seconds before using it. Attach it vertically to the foam gun. Apply it in strips to the back surface of the board. Align the plate by pressing it onto the surface. You can do the doweling process after approximately 2 hours.
