Derby 76 is a solvent-based polychloroprene (contact) adhesive and is widely used in furniture, kitchen and industrial applications thanks to its high adhesion strength and fast adhesion feature. Its brush-applied structure provides controlled and homogeneous application on large surfaces. For adhesion of decorative plastic laminates to wood, chipboard and MDF surfaces; It is safely preferred in kitchen production, furniture manufacturing and connecting metal surfaces. In addition, Derby 76; In lamination processes of metal sheet, plywood, chipboard and honeycomb shells; It provides effective results in bonding materials such as rubber, felt, linen, cork and leather to metal, wood and plastic surfaces. The surfaces to be bonded must be dry, clean and free of oil before application. Laminated plastic sheets, metal and glass surfaces should be wiped with suitable cleaning solvents. Bonding performance can be increased by slightly roughening rubber surfaces. Derby 76 should be applied equally to both surfaces; After the appropriate drying time, the parts should be combined and pressed. Adhesive parts can be taken to the production line without having to wait after the process. To prevent faulty adhesion, the temperature of the application environment and the adhesive should not fall below 18°C. It has a minimum shelf life of 18 months when stored at room temperature with its package closed. Since it is a product containing toluene, it should be used in well-ventilated areas; It should be kept away from flame and spark sources. Contact with eyes and skin should be avoided and vapors should not be inhaled.
