Derby N.76 Contact Tin Adhesive (400 g) is an industrial contact adhesive with high adhesion strength, containing solvent-based polychloroprene. Thanks to its structure that can be applied with a brush, it provides homogeneous application on large surfaces and is ideal for professional use. For adhesion of decorative plastic laminates to wood, chipboard and MDF surfaces; It is widely preferred in kitchen production, furniture manufacturing and joining metal surfaces. Besides, Derby N.76; It can be used as a laminating material in metal sheet, plywood, chipboard and honeycomb shells, as well as giving effective results in adhering materials such as rubber, felt, linen, cork and leather to metal, wood, plastic and glass surfaces. The surfaces to be bonded must be dry, clean and free of oil before application. Laminated plastic sheets, metal and glass surfaces should be cleaned with a suitable cleaning solvent. Slight roughening of rubber surfaces improves adhesion performance. The adhesive should be applied to both surfaces; After the appropriate drying time, the parts should be combined and pressed. Adhesive parts can be taken into the production process without having to wait after the process. To prevent faulty adhesion, the temperature of the application environment and the adhesive should not fall below 18°C. It has a minimum shelf life of 18 months when stored at room temperature with its package closed. Since it is a product containing toluene, it should be used in well-ventilated areas; It should be kept away from flame and spark sources.
